Stephanie Lewis
Tough Cookie since 2013
Having the support of women of different fitness levels to train with has really improved my own training.  The coaches are knowledgeable and compassionate, helping you train within your current fitness levels, but encouraging you to challenge yourself with each workout.  They help you create short term and long term goals while providing the support to meet, and even crush, them.

Coaches High Five
Stephanie's love for various kinds of races keeps her focused and fresh. Her ability to find various types of races around the country is inspiring to her peers and coaches! From Beat the Blearch in Washington state, to the Nike Women's San Francisco Half Marathon, Stephanie always gives her best effort in practices and on the race course.
Marianne Van Houtte
Tough Cookie since 2014
I love being part of Tough Cookies. It is so much fun to be able to train with other women who like to work hard and have coaches to guide me through training towards my goals.
This picture was taken in Nationals in Milwaukie.

Coaches High Five
Marianne is one dedicated Tough Cookie! She is a results-driven athlete who blazes her own trail. You can find Marianne training for long distance races with a smile on her face and the heart of a champion.
Sally Van Sickle
Tough Cookie since 2003
Tough Cookies has been the motivator for me to stay fit and active year after year. Countless friendships have developed from my 13+ years with TC. I've completed over 15 half marathons around the country due to the confidence developed with the coaches and running buddies. Tough Cookies rock!!

Sally's love for an active lifestyle keeps her engaged in many of the different types of workouts that Tough Cookies offers. She has participated in our running programs, cycling rides, and x-training workouts. Always on the move, Sally finds a way to keep up her fitness and friendships while traveling the world.
CC Rowe
Tough Cookie since 2009
Tough Cookies is more than just a training group. It's a family of kindred spirits that thrives on supporting and challenging each other to be our best selves. The friendships I have built with the Tough Cookies have been forged over miles of pavement and months of exertion, and because of that, they are the strongest friendships I could ever wish for. Without this band of sisters and the guidance of the team of coaches, I would not be half the athlete I am today.

CC is a great example of how a Tough Cookie can dream big and reach new amazing goals. She has a fun attitude when in rest and recovery mode, and is all in during training mode. CC's ability to challenge herself has brought her numerous awards and has represented Team USA in international races! CC also volunteers her time as a ride leader for our MS150 cycling team.
Kinaya Ulbrich
Tough Cookie since 2008
I can't imagine myself--my life, without Tough Cookies. The friendships and year around training options are a major reason for my surviving the unexpected death of my mother. I needed that consistency! This group goes so far beyond multisport. Yes, they coached me to an Ironman finish but every day they make me better. I hope I get chosen to open the Hawaii chapter! #ToughCookies4Life

Kinaya is the best Tough Cookie to sing with while running! She has a beautiful and welcoming smile that makes long runs and training rides memorable. Her adventurous spirit has led her to train for every program and race we offer year after year: marathons, triathlons, Ironman, and the MS150.s
Carina Rivero
Tough Cookie since 2008
There was a time when failure used to scare me. Through the Tough Cookies training program, I have learned to dig deep and trust in my training.

Coaches High Five
Carina's laugh is warm and contagious! She is an amazingly strong and humble athlete who trains hard and finds ways to encourage her fellow Cookies. Her upbeat attitude spreads to everyone she is around and we love seeing pictures of her in Tough Cookie gear around the world!

Community Involvement

Safe Place Illumination Walk
Illuminate Austin provides an outlet for our community, clients, and supporters to rally together and take a stand for change. But most importantly, it's to remember those who have suffered at the hands of sexual assault and domestic violence.
We walked at Long Center on March 6th, 2016 to make some noise on the issues of sexual assault and domestic violence.
Special Olympics Winter Games
Tough Cookies volunteered at Mel's Lanes in Georgetown to support the State competition in bowling.
We had a great time getting to know our athletes and cheering for them!
