Program Overview

Our running programs are open to women of all abilities and experience. Women in the program are coached according to their own ability and personal goals. Our women-specific program incorporates yoga for runners and strength training to compliment speed, technique and endurance training and avoid injuries common to the female anatomy. Our trainees benefit from the unique social interaction, support and motivation that our women-only group provides. Whether your goal is to finish your first 5K or set a new Marathon PR, our goal is to get you across the finish line injury-free and with a smile on your face. Feel free to come to any of our sessions to check us out!
  • Wednesday 6pm (Anderson High School track)
  • Saturday 7:00am Zilker Park playground parking lot or Brushy Creek
  • Additional optional access to our Boot Camp sessions on Tuesday/Thursday 6:30am on ZOOM

Intro to Tough Cookie Running

Intro to Tough Cookie Running - Spring and Fall
Get ready to increase your endurance, stamina, and speed. Learn proper running technique and training principals including the Run/Walk technique. There is no minimum fitness level and walkers wishing to transition to running are welcome! You can choose from a number of 5 or 10K's to train for if you wish to put your new running skills to the test!

Half Marathon Training Programs

Half Marathon Training - Spring and Fall
Our half marathon program prepares you successfully to run a number of races offered throughout the year including,  3M,  Austin Half Marathon and Zooma. To join this group you should be able to comfortably run/walk 3 miles (at any speed).

Marathon Training Programs

Marathon Training - Fall
This 24-week training program prepares you to successfully run the Austin Marathon (or any other marathon in the January-February time frame). Our goal is to get you across the finish line injury-free and with a smile on your face whether your goal is to just finish or to break 4:00 hrs. To join this group you should be able to comfortably run/walk 6 miles (at any speed).

Running for Fitness

If you do not wish to train for any race and just love to run for fun, fitness and camaraderie you may join at any time!
